Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajinder Nagar by-elections candidate Shri Durgesh Pathak conducted a padyatra in Ward 104’s Rajeev Gandhi Camp, Dhobi Ghat, WZ 572 and Ward 103’s Krishi Kunj & WZ Block today. The residents of the area who have school-going children said that CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is working tirelessly to transform government schools with a noble vision of giving a bright future to our children. Their schools have improved so much that we no more worry about arranging extravagant fees to send them to private schools. The people of Rajinder Nagar can see a change as their children have become sharper in studies. This is not just limited to textbook learning but they have also started talking about commerce and employment. An immense crowd turned up for the padyatra and showed their support for Shri Durgesh Pathak. They have given clear indications of the Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in the elections.
Senior AAP Leader and Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajinder Nagar MLA Candidate Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “Parents are always tense about the future of their children which depends entirely on the education they receive. Parents send their students to expensive schools and hire expensive tutors for their bright future. However, it was almost impossible for the poor and middle-class families to afford quality education and they are deprived of a bright future. The Aam Aadmi Party has worked in the interest of such families and transformed the government schools to an extent that they have outperformed the private schools. The quality of education is so high that even the developed countries are impressed by it. Everybody in Delhi is aware of this fact, even the children.”
He continued, “When I was talking to the people and asked the family members about the education of their children, they started saying that their children go to the Kejriwal Government’s schools only. Now the schools have become excellent, children study diligently. Education has become so good that children have started talking about business and employment at such a young age. We never thought that such a day would ever come. Even before the AAP Government, most children here were sent to government schools because the fee for private schools is very expensive. But then children did not get such facilities which are available today. Back then, children never used to study in government schools; they used to sit and come back. All this transformation and development has been possible only because of the Kejriwal Government. We will vote for the Aam Aadmi Party only.”
He added, “I feel blessed from the bottom of my heart that the locals are coming out saying the Aam Aadmi Party will win. People are claiming that Rajinder Nagar has decided they want an MLA from the incumbent government and honestly it makes my heart full. Everyone understands that if the Aam Aadmi Party has an MLA here, the pace of all the work will accelerate contrary to what will happen if another party’s candidate is voted for. Such people will only make allegations and counter-arguments, will do nothing, and will blame everything on the Aam Aadmi Party. People have made it clear that the Aam Aadmi Party’s MLA will return to Rajinder Nagar this time.”
