Food & Civil Supplies Minister Imran Hussain takes stock of the progress of establishing eight Mohalla Clinics in Ballimaran Constituency

Food & Civil Supplies Minister of Delhi and Ballimaran MLA Shri Imran Hussain took stock of the progress of establishing eight (08) Mohalla Clinics in Ballimaran Constituency at Lal Kuan Main Road, Baradari Main Road, Chamelian Road inside Fire brigade office, Bara Hindu Rao Main Road, Sarai Khaleel DDA Flats, Qutub Road-Jal Board Office, Sher Ka Pinjara- Near Eidgah and Gali Tel Mill- DUSIB Barat Ghar. The Minister chaired a meeting in this regard with the official of PWD, DUSIB, DJB, MCD and the CDMO(Central district).

F&S Minister Shri Imran Hussain said that eight sites have already been identified for the construction of Mohalla Clinics in the Ballimaran Assembly Constituency. He asked the concerned officials to set a tentative deadline for the construction of the Mohalla clinics at the identified sites. The construction process should be completed in a stipulated time without any delay. The Minister issued strict instructions to remove all encroachments and illegal occupations expeditiously in the area. F&S Minister Shri Imran Hussain said that it is necessary to have coordination between various Government agencies so that public money can be utilized properly and projects are completed in time.

Considering the need and convenience of the residents in the Ballimaran assembly constituency, the Minister emphasized establishing one Mohalla clinic dedicated to woman residents in the area. Generally, women are not able to talk freely about their health issues and health care is not easily accessed by those belonging to the middle class and lower-income families. The Minister directed to have the services of the gynecologist and related diagnostic tests at the clinic.

The F&S Minister said that the Kejriwal Government is committed to provide quality health care facilities to all residents within one Kilometer radius of their homes. Mohalla clinic health service aimed to provide adequate primary medical facilities to residents in their vicinity.
