AAP MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak and AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha welcomed all the new joinees
AAP MLAs Advocate Madanlal and Speaker Ram Niwas Goel formally inducted everyone into the party

Inspired by the historic work being done by the Kejriwal government in areas like schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads and WiFi, people are constantly joining the Aam Aadmi Party. In this sequence, AAP MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak and AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha today welcomed Congress leader Rahul Jain, BSP leader Rohtas Kumar, Congress leader Ram Krishna Rana and SP leader Kulvir Singh along with their colleagues in the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP MLAs Advocate Madanlal and Assembly Speakers Ram Niwas Goel inducted everyone in the party. Azadpur Mandi Chairman Adil Khan of the Aam Aadmi Party was also present at the event.
Senior AAP leader and MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak said, “people not only from Delhi but also from different areas of the entire country are continuously joining the Aam Aadmi Party after being influenced by the Kejriwal model and work politics of Aam Aadmi Party. In the same sequence, today Congress leader Rahul Jain, BSP leader Rohtas Kumar, Congress leader Ram Krishna Rana and SP leader Kulvir Singh are joining the Aam Aadmi Party with their respective teams. I warmly welcome everyone to the Aam Aadmi Party.”
He added, “Rahul Jain belongs to Ward 18E of Vishwas Nagar Vidhan Sabha. He started the journey of politics in the year 1995 and even today he is carrying the weight of his posts with the same spirit. Rahul Jain is the Congress President of their Anand Vihar Unit since 2016 till date. In 2017, he got his wife Mayura Jain to contest the elections firmly on a Congress party ticket from Anand Vihar ward. In which she came second with 6500 votes. In 2015, he was the Vishwas Nagar Block Congress President. He was the secretary of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee in 2012-2014. In 2006-2012, Babarpur District Youth Congress was in charge. He was the General Secretary of Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress in 2005-2012. His wife Mayura Jain is also taking membership of the Aam Aadmi Party today. Along with this many other colleagues such as Vice President Vinod Pal, Vice President Naval Singh, President Youth Congress Himanshu Sharma, Pankaj, General Secretary Premvati, Secretary Manoj Rathore are also joining AAP.”
He continued, “Rohtas Kumar is a member of Delhi Congress Committee. He is also the Observer of Timarpur Vidhan Sabha. In 2017, his wife Vidyavati contested for the post of councilor in MCD from Congress. In which she got 9200 votes. Rohtas ji is also a social worker.”
He further said “Ram Krishna Rana, Delhi Pradesh Congress member from Burari assembly took the membership of Aam Aadmi Party today. SP leader Kulvir Singh belongs to Karawal Nagar Vidhan Sabha. Apart from being a politician, he is also a social worker. In 1994, he was the SP Block President of Block Hastinapur. Kulvir ji provides medical camp services during the Kanvad Yatra every year. He is also the President of Gujjar Sabha.”
Other prominent leaders who joined the Aam Aadmi Party included Arun Kumar Mahajan, Sumesh Kapoor, Manish Kapoor, Arun Mahajan, Kittu Sharma, Deepak Roed, G.S. Grover and Trilochan Singh.
