According to Marx, capitalism in various ways raises an army of unemployed workers and uses this army as a shield against the struggle of the working class for higher wages and a better life. Therefore, as long as state power is in the hands of capitalism, it will not allow unemployment to end. Keynes, on the other hand, advocates for a solution to this problem through investments made by the government to create new jobs while maintaining the capitalist system of production. Any youth movement against the problem of unemployment cannot be a revolutionary Marxist movement unless it is linked to the question of a change of political power and the building of a socialist system. Without a change of political power and the building of a socialist system, any gentleman who seeks to solve the problem of unemployment can only be a follower of Keynes. It is not enough to associate Bhagat Singh’s name with any anti-unemployment program but it must be associated with a change of political power and the building of a socialist system.
