The Aam Aadmi Party continued its all-round blistering attack against the BJP in regard to the Jahangirpuri Violence on Wednesday as well. AAP’s Senior Leadership of Rajya Sabha MPs Shri Raghav Chadha & Shri Sanjay Singh and Delhi MLAs Ms Atishi & Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj lashed out at BJP’s ‘Bulldozer Justice’ and unilaterally called for the BJP headquarters to be demolished under the same method. On one side, MP Shri Raghav Chadha said, “If you want to end riots in this country forever, the BJP headquarters should be bulldozed immediately. There were riots in 2020, then 2022. It is clear that the Union Home Minister himself is behind these riots, his house must be razed down too.” While MP Shri Sanjay Singh said, “BJP Headquarters and Amit Shah’s house must be demolished immediately. They neither belong to the Hindu community, nor the Muslim community or the country.” The leaders further slammed the BJP for establishing Bangladeshi and Rohingya settlements all over the country. MLA Ms Atishi stated, “BJP leaders established Bangladeshi and Rohingya settlements all over India to use them as pawns for their rioting and violence. If BJP presents a list of all the settlements it has established then everyone will be able to predict where the next riots will take place. BJP is behind all the encroachments, BJP councillors stood in support of illegal construction everytime.” At the same time, Chief Spokesperson Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj asserted that no one but BJP’s Central Government has the power to settle Rohingyas in the country. Bangladeshis and Rohingyas have been made to inhabit Indian lands only to ensure rioting and violence, he said. Commenting on the encroachments being brought up, Shri Chadha said that if this country has to function on bulldozer justice then houses of those BJP leaders must be demolished who took bribes to let these encroachments come up.
MP Shri Raghav Chadha said, “BJP is behind the riots being caused throughout the country. It is because of them that violence, vandalising and hooliganism is propagating all over. They talk about bulldozer justice, in reality they need it the most. I am confident and can guarantee that if the Bharatiya Janata Party office is bulldozed all riots in the country will come to an end forever. These are the people behind all the rioting and the situation of Delhi is out in the open for all to see. Day in and day out the BJP and the Home Minister promote violence in the national capital. 2020 saw riots in North East Delhi. Now we saw it unfold in Jahangirpuri. If a bulldozer can stop rioting, it must be sent to raze down the fortress of the Home Minister. That will certainly stop the violence.”
He continued, “Over the last eight years, BJP has inhabited Bangladeshis and Rohingyas all over the country. They have established their settlements just for the sole cause of promoting riots in the country using them. If you want to forecast where the next riot will take place, just ask the BJP for their list and map out where their settlements are popping up. You’ll be able to understand their motives in one glance. I ask the BJP to come out clean about how many Bangladeshi and Rohingya settlements they have set up.”
The MP concluded, “The BJP talks of the bulldozer. But in reality, in the last 15 years of their rule in the MCD the BJP leaders have taken huge bribes to let these people encroach land and build illegal constructions. Today, the illegal constructions should not be the only victims of the demolition. The homes and offices of all those BJP leaders who have taken bribes to let these encroachments prop up should also be demolished. It is a known fact that the BJP itself stands behind illegal constructions and has promoted it in the MCD. Their leaders are no less than criminals and should not be spared at any cost.”
MLA Ms Atishi said, “Today, the BJP-ruled MCD has authorised bulldozers for demolition in the Jahangirpuri area, claiming that this will prevent the riots and the violence from continuing further. However, the ground reality is that it is the BJP itself who is orchestrating these violent incidents and inciting riots not only in Delhi but all over the country. It is actively enabling and encouraging all forms of communal violence. hooliganism, and upheaval across various states. In order to truly put an end to this chaos, the bulldozer should not be operating in Jahangirpuri, but on the BJP headquarters instead. Once the BJP office itself gets demolished, no more rioting or violence will take place anywhere in the country. Amit Shah and the entire BJP Government are repeatedly inciting and fuelling these uprisings all over India, with their control on the police administration, puppeteering them to watch from the sidelines and not bat an eyelid. Hence, this bulldozer should run over Amit Shah’s residence, because the day that happens, all forms of violence will come to an end.”
She added, “It is the BJP leaders who have provided safe haven to these extremist goons in different parts of the country, so that they can accomplish such lowly acts of communal violence as and when the BJP desires. The BJP must present a list of all these people it has helped reside over the past 8 years, and this list will make everything clear, and even hint towards the location and probability of the next riot the BJP aims to incite. Today, the BJP-ruled MCD is claiming that it will stop encroachment with the demolition in Jahangirpuri. They must then answer why they chose to ignore the matter for the past 15 years that it has held power in the MCD. It is clear as day that the BJP did not act on the topic of encroachment before as it was party to enabling and encouraging it in order to accomplish its violent goals. The BJP councillors and leaders themselves are involved in this, have squandered large sums of money and ensured that these illegal encroachments take place. Hence, the BJP’s misgovernance and hate mongering is the reason that such hooliganism and violence is plaguing the country today.”
AAP Chief Spokesperson Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “In the past fifteen days, including the festivals of Ram Navami and then Hanuman Jayanti, the BJP has incited riots in 7 different states across the nation. Given the manner in which these incidents have taken place, it is clear that it is the BJP’s pre-planned conspiracy to cause these violent upheavals all over the country. If we truly wish to put an end to the brazen communal disturbance and flare ups throughout the nation, then these bulldozers must take to the BJP Headquarters instead. Once the BJP offices are demolished, the violence will immediately come to a permanent end. Last time the riots that took place in East Delhi in 2020 were orchestrated by Amit Shah himself. Yet again, as he has ascended the role of the Home Minister, he has caused riots in the National Capital. Once Amit Shah’s house itself is demolished, the violence will end on its own. The BJP-ruled Central Government helped various Bangladeshis and Rohingyas settle all over the country; no state government has the power to do so. The BJP must respond as to where all it has provided refuge to these people, whom we believe have been allotted various corners of the nation in order to incite more riots like this.”
He continued, “Every Delhi resident is deeply aware of whose responsibility it is to take care of unauthorised encroachment or construction in the state; it directly falls under the BJP-ruled MCD’s jurisdiction. These encroachments have been taking place for the past 15 years, ever since the BJP has held power in the MCD. To begin with, the BJP councillors and leaders pocketed hefty amounts of money, bribing the refugees and arranged for them to settle in unauthorised areas through encroachment and illegal construction on government land. Today, they are demolishing the same structures that they helped construct, so the corrupt BJP councillors and politicians who squandered large sums of money to ensure encroachment in these places should also have their homes demolished. We demand to know why these corrupt BJP leaders are being excused, while the demolition continues in Jahangirpuri in the name of ‘anti-encroachment’. While the Supreme Court is set to do due diligence on the matter, our question is directed at the BJP itself: How did these illegal encroachments occur over the past 15 years under your nose, and why did you not take any action to stop them earlier? None of these intrusions occurred overnight, it was a long process which took years. Was the BJP-ruled MCD asleep this entire time? No, its leaders and councillors were simply busy filling their pockets. This true nature of the BJP has been exposed today. The BJP is an extremist organisation hell bent on spewing venom in the veins of one religion against another and fuelling the communal flames, and hence the Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemns its actions.”
While, MP Shri Sanjay Singh said, “BJP is causing riots all over the country. It has become a party of goons. Delhi’s riots of 2020 and 2022 are examples of their evil mind. Bulldoze the BJP office and Amit Shah’s house if you want to end riots. These people neither belong to the Hindu community, nor to Muslim community, or to the country. BJP organises riots in a very well-planned manner, they have established Bangladeshi settlements at different places. Map the density of these settlements, it will be clear where the riots are going to happen. This bulldozer justice is nothing but drama. While ruling the municipal corporation the BJP has only and only taken bribes to let these encroachments prop up. They have in fact promoted such illegal construction to fill their pockets.”
He continued, “As far as the Aam Aadmi Party is concerned, it has been questioning this whole saga since day one. We are the ones shouting that those people who have the security of Delhi in their hands are causing riots. The BJP’s own man, Ansar, was found to be the mastermind. He was campaigning for their councillor candidate Sangeeta in 2017 but now the BJP is trying to hush the matter.”
