The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University will onboard and handhold student teams of the Delhi State Government schools who are part of the top 126 teams of the Business Blaster program. The Business Blaster expo was a large-scale entrepreneurship competition where 126 teams participated.

DSEU Innovation and Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship (DIICE) has been formed to encourage, support and guide young entrepreneurs to nurture their ideas into successful business ventures, headed by Ambika Bisla, a finance professional with more than 20 years of experience.

DSEU Innovation and Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship (DIICE) organized a 2-day bootcamp at the Dwarka campus on 16th and 17th June for its Business Blaster Incubatees as part of its training and development plan. Over 60 students from 16 teams of present Class XII students participated in the event. The boot camp had a series of learning oriented workshops cum sessions to help the teams learn basic concepts of marketing, finance, product development, organization behaviour and company formation, conducted by entrepreneurs and working professionals – Mr Rohit Chawla, Founder & CEO at Bare Anatomy, Syed Saood Ahmed, Founder Mass Climb,Bharti Singhla, Environmental Entrepreneur, Founder & COO Chakr Innovation Vivek Chopra, Independent Professional Coach, Mentor & Trainer Priyanka Kapuria, Founder The Little Talkatives, amongst others, sharing anecdotes from their journey of being an entrepreneur.

Eight MBA graduates from top management schools of India interning with DIICE have been part of the workshops cum training sessions assisting Business Blaster incubatees to refine their operation and strategies.

Prof. (Dr.) Neharika Vohra, Vice Chancellor, DSEU, in conversation with the students at the bootcamp shared “It has been a thrilling experience for you all, from the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum to the Business Blasters winners. Now is the time to take a step back, reflect and decide what might be the best way to approach your business.” Introducing the students to DIICE, she said “ Our focus here is not to make decisions on your behalf for your ideas, but to handhold you in this journey of yours. We’ll help you connect with experts of your field, help you ask the right questions.” She concluded by saying “ Through DIICE you will have access to legal guidance, labs, connects and working spaces, but eventually it would be you, who can make or break your business.”

Elaborating on the plans for the entrepreneurship vertical, Prof. Vohra, shared “We are working on multiple ventures including MSME (for students/faculty of DSEU and other members of the University), Business Blasters Program, Micro Women Entrepreneurship, and High growth and Innovation start ups.”

Ambika Bisla, CEO, DIICE congratulated the students on their journey and said “It was enlightening to interact with the budding entrepreneurs. Their overwhelming energy and enthusiasm, and the hunger to learn is truly admirable – qualities worth aspiring for!”. She further added, ” To see the eager faces of students, and a great sense of optimism and excitement makes me feel very energized about the prospects of entrepreneurship in the coming generations. We welcome the Business Blaster teams who have joined us at DIICE and look forward to curating a safe environment for them to make mistakes, learn and grow and create high growth enterprises”.

DSEU is accepting applications for 45 programs including full time diploma, part time diploma, undergraduate degree & post graduate degree programs. The last date to apply for Post Graduate programs is 5th July 2022 and for Diploma Programs and B.A./B.Sc. Digital Media & Design is 11th July 2022.
