The BJP-ruled MCD has issued a barbaric order to fire doctors who were seeking their salaries which have been due since the past four months, informed AAP Senior Leader and MCD In-charge Shri Durgesh Pathak. He stated — BJP’s act of firing the doctors who tirelessly saved lives during the pandemic is criminal and inhumane. Only in BJP’s shrewd justice system can doctors be fired for asking for their unpaid salaries. Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemns this shameless act of the BJP and demands the reinstatement of all doctors.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MCD in-charge Shri Durgesh Pathak issued a statement on Thursday. He said, “the issue of employee salaries has become so divisive in the MCD that the BJP has lost all sense of humanity. We always say that MCD never pays its doctors, nurses, sweepers, or teachers on time. As a result, MCD employees have had to go on strike again and again. When asked why, the BJP always responds, “If we don’t have money, where should we pay the salary from?” But, the BJP has now reached the pinnacle of its corruption. For the past four months, MCD doctors have not been paid. Their families are finding it difficult to arrange groceries now. Disgusted by the difficulties they were facing, the doctors approached the BJP asking for their due salaries but were instead fired from their job. Such treatment of doctors who served the people of Delhi during the Corona pandemic is inhumane. The BJP, led by MCD, has abandoned all its humanity. First, they do not pay their employees for months and then fire them after they demand their salaries?. Is this the form of justice BJP believes in? The Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemns this heinous act.”
He added, “Surprisingly, everyone is aware of the extent of corruption in the BJP ruled MCD. The BJP is at the forefront of selling Delhi’s land, schools, and hospitals for throwaway prices to its own people. This doesn’t end here, they are selling our heritage too. Despite their selling sprees, their employees are not receiving their due pay. Instead, they are now being fired from their jobs. Where is all of MCD’s money going? It seems to be going into the pockets of the BJP councillors and leaders, of course. This is why the MCD is on the verge of being bankrupt today. The Aam Aadmi Party opposes the BJP-led MCD’s barbaric order. MCD elections are approaching and the people of Delhi will vote the BJP out of the MCD for sure now.”
