The whole country knows the extent to which the MCD is rife with BJP’s corruption. But today with the presentation of the South MCD budget they’ve gone even further in their heist. AAP’s South MCD LOP Shri Prem Chauhan stated — South MCD budget is a living proof of BJP’s hollow promises. BJP has proved its incompetence by not paying heed to employees in the budget. No mechanism or suggestion put up by the BJP to curb the corruption taking place in MCD. Evident that all these scams are taking place under the watch of BJP leaders.
South MCD LOP Shri Prem Chauhan said, “Today’s House meeting saw the presentation of the SDMC budget. Surprisingly, today’s proposed budget is a living expression of the BJP’s fraudulent promises, which have been made in MCD for the past 15 years. Only future plans have been presented in this document.What promises did they make previously, how many of them they fulfilled, they did not specify anywhere. Clearly, they have not been able to keep any of their promises over the last 15 years. Employees, particularly sanitation warriors, have not been given even the most basic of facilities. And when it came to regularisation, the MCD-led BJP was unable to keep its pledge. The BJP-led MCD did not mention employees when presenting the budget; nonetheless, the BJP did nothing but exploit MCD employees.”
He added, “Another interesting event happened in today’s budget. Everyone is aware of the extent to which the corporation is rife with corruption. Every day, a fresh heist scheme is revealed. In every way, they have achieved their goal of plundering the public. By failing to provide any suggestion or policy to combat the continual corruption in the corporation during the budget, the BJP-run MCD has demonstrated that all of this corruption is taking place under the protection of their leaders. That’s why they didn’t think it was necessary to bring it up. But the people of Delhi are watching everything. Everyone has decided that the BJP must be ousted in the MCD elections to be held in April.”
