Today he held three Nukkad Sabhas in Phagwara, Hoshiarpur & Sham Chaurasi. Shri Kejriwal stated — I appeal to everyone to vote for AAP and bring a strong & honest government. Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal held three Nukkad Sabhas in Punjab today. The first was held at Hariana, Sham Chaurasi, the second at Hoshiarpur Session Chowk and the third in Phagwara. Shri Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the people to ensure victory of all the party’s candidates with huge margins. There was a large crowd of supporters in all the three sabhas. People thronged to the beat of drums and gave assurance of formation of the AAP government in Punjab under the leadership of Sardar Bhagwant Mann. People had gathered on the balconies and roofs of their houses to see and hear the AAP Convenor and he was warmly greeted by the locals.
While addressing the Nukkad Sabhas, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “Our Sham Chaurasi Candidate Dr Ravjot has promised the development of a hospital here. Today I guarantee the same and assure you it will be done soon. Apart from that, Pearl has looted the people of Punjab. All the governments together protected those running Pearl. We will bring justice to all those who’ve been looted by them and get their money back.”
He continued, “the elections are on 20th February. Everyone must vote for AAP then. Don’t go behind the 1000-2000 these politicians will give for your vote. If AAP comes to power each family will get a benefit of 7 lacs in 5 years. We will give free education, healthcare, one thousand a month to women, and the best of the facilities you can imagine.”
He added, “The people of Punjab are very nice. They are full of love. But the politicians have looted the state. The state is rife with corruption. Delhi too suffered from the same rot before we came to power. We will form the first honest government of Punjab. We’ll bring an end to Raid Raj and Notice Raj. All false notices will be taken back. All of the temporary workers will be regularised.”
He concluded, “According to media reports, AAP is getting 60 to 65 seats. It indicates that the AAP government will be formed for sure. However, you must give us more than 80 seats in order to form a strong government. Call all of your friends and relatives, and on election day, every vote should go to the AAP. No one can stop us from crossing the 80-seat threshold if all your votes are cast. Whatever votes the Aam Aadmi Party candidate receives, those votes will be directed directly to form the AAP Government under the leadership of Sardar Bhagwant Mann. I assure you Bhagwant Mann is a good man who will form a competent government. All these parties have ransacked Punjab in 70 years, AAP will heal all your wounds. We will bring prosperity to Punjab.”
