The entire country is heavily influenced by the Kejriwal Model of Development and the kind of progress that it has made in the state of Delhi. People are constantly joining the Aam Aadmi Party as a result of this phenomenal work being done by the Kejriwal Government in all sectors – including schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads, and so on. On Friday, two-time councillor from BJP Devendra Choudhary and Congress’s ex-councillor Ramesh Pandit, along with dozens of their supporters, joined Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Senior AAP leader Shri Manish Sisodia welcomed them to the party, felicitating them with caps and patka. The Deputy CM stated – The country’s political situation is changing. Those who want to do something for the public and in the national interest, are joining the Aam Aadmi Party. Aam Aadmi Party MCD in-charge Shri Durgesh Pathak was also present on the occasion.
Shri Manish Sisodia said, “I have personally known Shri Devendra Chaudhary and Shri Ramesh Pandit for a long time. Their way of connecting with the public, working style and efficiency is commendable. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party has done things in the interests of the public which were never considered possible in politics. Shri Devendra Chaudhary and Shri Ramesh Pandit have joined the party today after being impressed by the work done by the Aam Aadmi Party in the field of education, health, water-electricity and other sectors of public interest in Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party is a movement to provide better facilities to the people and I welcome both of them to this movement. I hope that they will join the Aam Aadmi Party in serving the society in a tremendous way.”
After joining the party, Devendra Chaudhary said, “The development model devised by Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal is being lauded not only in Delhi, but throughout India. The current state of the BJP in Delhi is not hidden from anyone. Today, selected individuals hold party positions while ignoring the public. People who work for the public benefit are given priority in the Aam Aadmi Party, which is why I joined it today.”
On this occasion, Ramesh Pandit said, “Under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, Delhi is on its way to becoming a world-class city. On the one hand, AAP is attempting to make the city world-class, while the BJP has completely ruined MCD. So now there is a need to bring about changes in MCD, as well as to bring in the Aam Aadmi Party. This is why I am joining the revolutionary movement led by AAP.”
Devendra Choudhary has been a two-time municipal councillor from BJP and Shahdara (south) chairman. On the other hand, Ramesh Pandit is an ex- councillor from Congress. He was also a member of DDA.
