In view of its success, in the coming time, the Delhi government will start the program in private schools of Delhi as well. Shri Sisodia said that India cannot become a 5 trillion dollar economy with the job seekers mindset. We can take the country’s economy to new heights only by developing the Entrepreneur Mindset among the students across the country. He said that the Business Blasters program has increased the confidence of lakhs of children of government schools in Delhi, this is the biggest achievement for the Kejriwal Government.

The Kejriwal Government organised the first ever Expo-Investment Summit under the Business Blasters program today at the Thyagraj Stadium. The event was organised at perhaps the largest ever scale for its kind and was graced by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia. The event saw over hundred teams of Delhi Government Schools put their entrepreneurial ventures out on show for investment like a formal investment program. The Deputy Chief Minister personally met with every single team at the event and discussed with them avenues to drive their business better. The energy of the young business stars was such that it took over the whole stadium and compelled the investors to fund the businesses. The event also saw an enriching investor-interaction take place on the sidelines that discussed not just the businesses of the students but also the growth of the EMC program. Along with investors from all across the country, dignitaries present at the expo were MLA Ms Atishi, Delhi Education Secretary Shri H Rajesh Prasad, and Director- Education, Shri Himanshu Gupta as well as Vice-Chancellor of DSEU Dr Neharika Vohra and Education Advisor Shri Shailendra Sharma.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia said that the Kejriwal government is committed to provide better education to every child of Delhi and in this direction through programs like Business Blasters, we are fulfilling the dreams of Babasaheb Ambedkar. He said that the Business Blasters Investment Summit and Expo is the first of its kind program for children in the country and the world. He said that 99% of the children studying in our schools have only one dream, that they have to do a good job after completing their studies and they leave the schools and colleges with the job seeker mindset. But if everyone thinks of taking a job, then who will give the job? As an answer to this question, we started the Business Blasters program.

He appealed to the investors to invest in children’s start-ups and give them guidance. Any government can do such experiments only up to a certain level. It is the job of the entrepreneurs to take it forward from here. He said that out of these young business stars of today, industrialists like Tata-Birla of tomorrow would emerge who would establish the world’s largest company 20 years from now. Therefore, the industry should cooperate in making these business stars move forward.

Adding on to the words of the Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Ranjan Anandan, MD of Sequoia Capital said, I often wonder what is the future of India. This morning it became very clear to me. Business Blasters and EMC is the answer to ‘how do we create 100 million jobs in India’. It’s an extraordinary thing that Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has done.
