NEW DELHI:
AAP took out an unprecedented roadshow in West Karawal Nagar to thank CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s efforts in getting a UGR built in the region. On this occasion, Senior AAP Leader and MCD In-charge Shri Durgesh Pathak said that — Karawal Nagar got freedom from the shortage of water because of Arvind Kejriwal. Happy that the promise I made to the public was fulfilled in time. Not just the residents of Karawal Nagar, but I too, will be forever grateful to CM Arvind Kejriwal for getting a UGR built here.
Shri Durgesh Pathak stated, “I am happy to stake the claim that the promise I had made to the people of Karawal Nagar has been fulfilled today. With the help of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the water shortage problem here has been eliminated. As per my promise, the work of building a UGR started in 2016 and now it is up and ready. Seeing the happiness of the people of Karawal Nagar, we felt that we should thank the Chief Minister for his efforts. Thus, we decided to hold a road show in the Karawal Nagar assembly constituency. Today, on March 6 at 9:30 am we took out a road show in West Karawal Nagar. During this, our colleagues from all the wards and all the workers and leaders of Ram Colony and Sonia Vihar Ward joined our rally with a large number of motorcycles. Meanwhile, a Janta Samvaad program was also held. The public expressed happiness over the UGR and thanked the Aam Aadmi Party dearly during our interaction.”
He added, “The people of Karawal Nagar are very happy that there will not be any shortage of water from now on. I am happy that my efforts were successful and the public got rid of the problem. This has been made possible only because of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal. At the same time, I want to tell the people of Delhi that the way the Aam Aadmi Party has been working keeping in mind the needs of the people, it will continue to do so in future too. When the Aam Aadmi Party has your trust in its bag, it makes the impossible possible. Through our public dialogue we have ascertained that most of the people want to bring the Aam Aadmi Party to the MCD and throw BJP out. People are ready for this change and now no one can stop them.”
