Students are getting career guidance from experts through ‘Career Conclave’ at SKV Pandara Road, students of other schools also attending

EMC and Business Blasters has helped them learn skills to resolve problems of future, say students of SKV Pandara Road

NEW DELHI

Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Shri Manish Sisodia paid a surprise visit to Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya on Monday to check the progress of academic activities in the school. During the visit he also discussed the studies with the students and learnt about their experiences of Happiness and EMC classes from them.

Shri Sisodia also attended the Happiness Class in the school to check on the learning process being followed. Students said that they are being taught mindfulness and the art of happiness through various classroom activities. They have been able to concentrate on their studies in a better way after attending these sessions.

To provide guidance to students for making informed career choices, students at SKV, Pandara Road are being provided assistance by experts through ‘Career Conclave’. Education and Vocational Guidance Counselors (EVGC) at the Conclave are providing career as well as educational related counseling to students of Class 12. This Career Conclave is also open to students of nearby government schools for career counseling.

SKV students also added that they have been able to learn many new things with the help of Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) and Business Blasters Program, which was very different from routine subjects. This has helped them develop better communication skills, decision making skills, critical thinking skills to resolve problems of the future.
