Out of desperation, BJP is welcoming those leaders from AAP who were on the verge of being thrown out: Manish Sisodia
People of Himachal Pradesh want a government that works like the AAP governments in Delhi and Punjab: Manish Sisodia
NEW DELHI/HIMACHAL PRADESH:
AAP is emerging as a strong political party all over India, and people are constantly losing faith in BJP and its incompetence. Speaking about the state of Himachal Pradesh, AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia stated – The BJP has lost all its credibility in Himachal Pradesh, and the people are now looking to AAP as an alternative. The BJP is growing anxious and fearful of AAP’s rising popularity in Himachal Pradesh, afraid of an embarrassing defeat. Out of desperation, BJP is welcoming those leaders from AAP who were on the verge of being thrown out. It is now clear that the people of Himachal Pradesh want a government that works like the AAP governments in Delhi and Punjab. And so, the Aam Aadmi Party will make sure to give Himachal an honest government.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Shri Manish Sisodia said, “The people of Himachal Pradesh are looking to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as a viable alternative in their state after its impressive performances in Delhi and Punjab. Due to its terrible performance in the 4 and half years since it formed the government in Himachal Pradesh, the BJP is facing an enormous election defeat in Himachal Pradesh.”
He continued, “On one hand, the party has lost face in the eyes of the people of Himachal Pradesh; they hold no expectations from the BJP anymore. They do not think it’s possible for the BJP to do any good work in developing schools, hospitals, providing electricity and employment in their state. This is the word on the streets of Himachal. On the other hand, fearful of the AAP’s rising popularity in the state, BJP is getting more anxious day by day and is even going to the extent of welcoming leaders from AAP who were on the verge of being evicted from the party.”
He added, “Over 1,000 more leaders from BJP will join the growing movement of Aam Aadmi Party in the state to give a government to the state that works for its people. Shri Harmel Dhiman, who has worked for over 30 years in BJP, has headed the SC wings of the party in the state as well as at national level, has joined AAP along with 20 of his leaders. The people of Himachal Pradesh are interested in getting a government like Delhi and Punjab that works on education and health.”
Shri Manish Sisodia concluded, “This desperate move of the BJP to welcome anyone into their party has demoralised the honest, sincere workers of the party. This move has hurt the diligent workers of BJP in Himachal Pradesh who had the good intentions for the progress of their state at heart. Now even they have started believing that BJP is not capable of bringing about any development in Himachal. The BJP is now in tatters in the state. Its workers and leaders, disappointed with BJP’s misgovernance from block to district level, are now joining the Aam Aadmi Party in large numbers.”
