NEW DELHI/HARYANA:

Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sushil Gupta said, “The youth of the state is bearing the brunt of the failures of the present Haryana government. Due to the mismanagement of the BJP government in Haryana, the youth has been compelled to take the path of illegal activities like drugs and petty crimes, sometimes even driven to take drastic steps like suicide. The people of the state are now fed up with the current government and want change in Haryana. Now, the people want the Kejriwal Model of Delhi to be implemented here as well. Hence, hundreds of new stakeholders and leaders are joining the Aam Aadmi Party every day”

Shri Harpal Singh Bhatti, the youngest MLA from Tohana as well as many big leaders of BSP joined the Aam Aadmi Party today.

On this occasion, Dr. Sushil Gupta attacked the current Haryana government for its misgovernance and failures. He said, “Due to ill-drafted and under researched policies of the present government, Haryana has the highest unemployment rate in the country today with a staggering 26% of its people suffering without a livelihood. In the state, 80 percent of the youth in the age group of 18 to 28 years are unemployed. These people are now fed up with unemployment and are getting caught in the clutches of drug abuse and crime, which is sabotaging their lives.”

He continued, “Despite spending crores of rupees in the name of security, papers of 25 recruitment exams were leaked due to which the examinations had to be cancelled. Due to the repeated leaks and cancellations, the young population of Haryana is becoming overage and many are often feeling compelled to resort to drastic steps like suicide. Crime is at its peak in the state; ransom is being demanded from the traders; women are afraid to leave their homes after 6 o’clock. The farmer community is already discontented with the government. Due to the failures of the BJP government in Haryana, the people of the state are desperate for a monumental change in leadership. Hence, Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal is ready to bring about the much needed reforms in Haryana by implementing the Kejriwal model of governance.”

He concluded, “The people who left the state and the country after losing hope in the current government are also beginning to develop faith in AAP as a credible leadership choice. Hence, Shri Harpal Singh Bhatti, the former MLA from Tohana, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party after returning from Canada. Along with him, Shri Shyam Lal, who was the State Coordinator of BSP, former State Incharge Shri Anil Ranga, Palwal District President Shri Hardayal Azad, Gurugram District President Shri SK Sharma, social worker and BSP leader Shri Rakesh Grover, Jind District Secretary Shri Shamsher Numberdar, and Gurugram’s BSP co-in-charge Shri Umesh Singh have joined the Aam Aadmi Party today party with hundreds of other members.”
