The Aam Aadmi Party is gearing up for the by-elections of Rajinder Nagar assembly seat with full force. Notably, the seat fell vacant after Senior Aam Aadmi Party Leader and MLA from the constituency, Shri Raghav Chadha was elevated to the Rajya Sabha. Aam Aadmi Party Delhi State Convenor Shri Gopal Rai held a party workers’ conference today in this regard. During this event, Senior Leader and PAC Member Shri Durgesh Pathak was unanimously appointed as election in-charge for Rajinder Nagar assembly by-election.
The Aam Aadmi Party has resolved itself to face the upcoming Rajinder Nagar by-elections, and has launched its preparations in full force. In this context, a conference of party workers was organised in the Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency today. This conference was held in the presence of Delhi State Convenor & Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai, Rajya Sabha MP & Former Rajinder Nagar MLA Shri Raghav Chadha, and PAC Member Shri Durgesh Pathak. Others present included Former Rajinder Nagar MLA and Delhi Khadi & Village Industries Chairman Shri Vijendar Garg, and Azadpur Mandi Chairman Shri Adil Khan, as well as all booth level office bearers of the party.
For the upcoming by-polls, the Aam Aadmi Party has declared senior party leader Shri Durgesh Pathak as the Election Incharge for the Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency. AAP Delhi State Convenor Shri Gopal Rai made this crucial announcement bestowing the election responsibility upon Shri Pathak.
Along with district president Dr. Yuvraj Bharadwaj, has been appointed as the Rajinder Nagar Vidhan Sabha Coordination-Incharge, one ward incharge has been designated to each ward in the constituency – Shri Parvesh Choudhary for Ward 102, Shri Alok Singh for Ward 103, and Shri Raj Shookeen for Ward 104.
The Aam Aadmi Party is fully prepared for the Rajinder Nagar assembly by-elections and has intensified the preparations for the same. On behalf of the party, the workers have been instructed to strengthen the preparations from the ward to the booth level. Ward in-charges have been asked to meet the public in their area and connect more people with the party. The Aam Aadmi Party is approaching the by-polls in the same way as assembly elections it had won with a bumper mandate.
Aam Aadmi Party Delhi State Convenor Shri Gopal Rai tweeted and divulged more details about the conference held today. He said, “Held a conference with the workers of Rajinder Nagar Vidhan Sabha. Shri Durgesh Pathak was declared as AAP’s election in-charge for the by-elections.”
