New Delhi: Veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
Harbhajan tweeted, “All good things come to an end and today as I bid farewell to the sport that has given me everything in life, I would like to thank all those who have made this 23 year long journey beautiful. and made memorable.”

Harbhajan ended his career playing 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20 Internationals for India.
Harbhajan last played for India in a T20I match against the United Arab Emirates in 2016 and has been confined to domestic cricket only since then. He continued to play in the Indian Premier League during this period, representing franchises such as Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Bhajji called it a day after he had some of the best records to his name in Indian cricket. In Test cricket, he has 417 wickets in just 103 matches. In ODIs, Bhajji has represented India with 227 wickets in 236 matches. In the shortest format of the game, Turbanator played 28 matches for India and took 25 wickets.
Harbhajan has played 163 matches in 13 seasons in IPL. The 2020 edition was the only one he didn’t feature. Overall, he has taken 150 wickets at an average of 26 and his best figure is 5/18.
