Actually, there was a match played between Hobart Hurricane and Melbourne Stars in Big Bash League, in which Singapore batsman Tim David made a mistake which surprised everyone.

Hobart Hurricane batted first in the match. And, scoring 181 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs, set a target of 181 runs in front of Melbourne Stars. Ben McDermott scored the highest 67 runs for Hobart. Apart from this, Matthew Wade played an innings of 39 runs. While the fouler Tim David remained unbeaten on 22 runs. This incident happened in the 20th over of Hobart’s innings. Melbourne bowler bowled a yorker on the 5th ball of this over. David wanted to take 2 runs on this yorker. But in this affair, he ran short for one run. As a result, the team suffered a loss of 5 runs.

According to the umpire, Tim David deliberately did not complete the first run as he was in a hurry to strike. He stayed away from completing the run by 3/4th. In this match, Hobart Hurricane scored 180 runs in the match. But, due to the mistake of Tim David, this score has now come down to 175 runs. Melbourne Stars captain Glenn Maxwell said that he can chase any total below 200.
