Booster dose of Coveshield and Covaxin were administered to all senior citizens in the free vaccine camp

15-18 years old children were given their first dose in the camp

The camp was specially organised for the residents of Gulmohar Park, Gulmohar Enclave, Niti Bagh and Uday Park

A free vaccination camp was organized for the residents of Gulmohar Park, Gulmohar Enclave, Niti Bagh and Uday Park today. In the free camp, all senior citizens were given booster doses of Coveshield and Covaxin and the first dose of 15-18 year old children. Former Minister and AAP MLA Somnath Bharti said that the Kejriwal government will continue to organize camps with the help of RWAs to save people from Coronavirus.

On Saturday, under the joint patronage of Gulmohar Park Residents Welfare Association and Gulmohar Club, a free vaccination camp was held in partnership with Bridging the Gap Foundation and the Delhi Government.

Shri Somnath Bharti, MLA of Malviya Nagar, launched the free camp held at Gulmohar Center. Somnath Bharti was greeted with a garland of flowers by RWA President Ishwar Chandra Bhardwaj.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, four oxygen concentrators and four oxygen cylinders have been set up at the association’s office for the convenience of the colony’s residents, according to Bhardwaj. They can be taken by any colony resident in an emergency.

Nirupama Verma, the Association’s General Secretary, thanked the Bridging the Gap Foundation and MLA Somnath Bharti for their help. The Association expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Somnath Bharti for the incredible job the Bridging the Gap Foundation has done over the previous two waves, from oxygen cylinders to cremation. Additionally, all citizens received free masks.

Former minister Somnath Bharti asserted that in the future, the Delhi government would establish such camps with the cooperation of local RWAs to protect the public from the Kovid pandemic. All older citizens in the free camp received a booster dosage of Coveshield and Covaxin. Covaxin was administered to children between the ages of 15 and 18. Only residents of Gulmohar Park, Gulmohar Enclave, Niti Bagh, and Uday Park were invited to this camp. A total of 93 persons in the camp received vaccine shots.
