AAP Senior Leader and MCD in-charge Shri Durgesh Pathak on Wednesday exposed how Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta and his sons are functioning as a builder mafia in Delhi. He stated — BJP Delhi State President Adesh Gupta has taken MCD land hostage for personal use. Adesh Gupta and his sons built an illegal party office by encroaching MCD land. Delhi High Court itself has issued a notice against Adesh Gupta for illegal construction. When the party chief himself is involved in such immoral antics, then imagine what all their councillors and workers must be up to. Bharatiya Janata Party claims to be very pure and pious but their character speaks of a different reality. People of Delhi must decide if they want an honest leadership or these mafias who’ll harass them.
Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “What a strange thing it would be for a person who was the Mayor of MCD and is now the leader of a party to be accused of encroaching land and erecting illegal structures on it with the help of MCD. These allegations have been levelled against Adesh Gupta, state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and his sons. He illegally took over MCD land and built his political office on it. In the same way, a lot of land has been encroached in the entire area to construct illegal structures. MCD’s help to this act only added fuel to this fire.”
He added, “Since MCD belongs to them, they did not let it take any action that it usually would on encroachers. Whatever way they saw of capturing they used and encroached upon public assets. What a shame that those entrusted with the responsibility of guarding the entire city of Delhi are now involved in the looting of the city. It’s a national disgrace and their heads should hang in shame today. The High Court has issued a notice to Adesh Gupta and his sons in this regard. Nothing can be more humiliating than this. The Bharatiya Janata Party brags about being a pure and pious party. But their true character is right in front of you.”
He asserted, “the BJP has looted MCD so much during its 15-year rule that MCD is now a bankrupt pauper. We now know why and how it’s happening. Today, their councillors go to every house to extort and eat money. When the head of their party is involved in such activities, one wonders what his councillors and employees must have done. People must consider all of these factors before making a major decision in the upcoming elections. We cannot leave Delhi in the hands of these thugs. We must make Delhi a city in which all of us can take pride.”
