AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal today addressed the mud-slinging and dirty politics taking place in Punjab. He talked about how leaders of all of the political parties have no plan but to slander AAP and create fake narratives to misguide the public. He stated — All the political parties have come together to defeat Punjab; now it’s time for the Punjabis to come together and ruin their plans. BJP, Congress, Akali Dal don’t want to defeat AAP, they want the people of Punjab to suffer so they can continue to plunder the state for another 70 years. Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “The entire state of Punjab has witnessed that for the last few days, all of these parties and their leaders have been abusing me and Sardar Bhagwant Mann. Amit Shah visited Punjab yesterday. He only slandered the Aam Aadmi Party and myself, he said nothing else. Channi Sahib wakes up in the morning and throws verbal abuses at me and Bhagwant Mann until he falls asleep. Then there’s Sukhbir Badal. He only slanders me and Bhagwant Mann. They never use Channi Sahib’s name either. When Priyanka Gandhi arrived, she was also saying ridiculous things about me. It appears that they have all banded together and are abusing us. They all speak the same language and have similar vocabularies.”
He added, “What exactly is our fault? We are travelling around Punjab, holding press conferences and conducting interviews. We are simply stating that we ran good schools in Delhi. Vote for us, and we will improve education in your community as well. All we’re saying is that we’ve done well in Delhi and will do well here as well. Many children are unemployed in this area; we will provide employment. We will punish those who are dishonest and give justice to those who have suffered. The power supply will be fixed and the roads will be repaired. All we’re saying is that we’ll give Punjab an honest government. All of these people have come together. They don’t want to defeat the Aam Aadmi Party; they want to defeat democracy and the people of Punjab. Under any circumstances, these parties do not want the Aam Aadmi Party to form the government in Punjab. These parties want to continue looting Punjab in the same way that they have done for the past 70 years.They are afraid that if the Aam Aadmi Party forms a government, their loot will end forever and they will no longer have opportunities to amass wealth. All of these parties are united in their desire to defeat Punjab.”
He concluded, “This is the time for everyone to band together and defeat all of these parties in order to save Punjab. An honest and well meaning party has arrived in Punjab, who will form a trustworthy government. It is about our children’s future. That is why everyone must work together to defeat all other traditional parties this time and create a new and better system. The elections are only three or four days away. The distribution of liquor and money will now begin. I appeal to the people to ensure that no one slips under any circumstances this time. You must save Punjab no matter what this time. Whether you are a supporter of the Congress, the BJP, or any other party, your parties have not provided you with anything to date. In the last 70 years, what has the BJP given to its supporters? What did Congress give the members of Congress? What did the Akali Dal cadre receive from the Akali Dal leaders? This time, everyone should forget about their party lines and press the broom button and opt for AAP.”
