On the last day of Punjab election campaigning, AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal took on an unrestrained counter-attack against the dirty-politics being played against AAP. Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “We enter the last day of campaigning for Punjab elections today. This election is very important in the current political system. For the last 70 years, these politicians not only ransacked Punjab but dragged it into debt, drugs, sand mafia and unemployment. Punjab is under backbreaking debt of three lac crore rupees. If all of this debt was taken, where did it go? One can barely see any on ground development in Punjab, they did not build any schools, hospitals, universities or public facilities. This money was diverted by all these politicians into Swiss Bank accounts. They built estates and mansions with this wealth while the public struggled for two square meals. With the grace of God, AAP has entered the fray to spoil their evil plans. Our entry and the support the people have given us has terrified the leaders to their core. They’ve all come together now. All the corrupt leaders of the BJP-Congress-Akali Dal are working round the clock to malign us.”

He added, “For the last few days, be it PM Modi, Rahul & Priyanka Gandhi, CM Channi, Capt Amrinder, Sukhbir Badal or their followers, they’re all singing the same song. They’re working like one team to defeat the AAP. They can’t bear to see a commoner like Bhagwant Mann become the Punjab CM. Sardar Bhagwant Mann is a staunchly honest leader. He only cares for the progress of Punjab. It feels like all these leaders sit down each night on a group conference call to decide what to say the next morning. They use the same sentences, the same adjectives for us. This can’t be a coincidence. What is our fault if all these have ganged up to promote corruption? CM Channi does not speak against the Badals. The Badals don’t speak about the CM. Same goes for the BJP and the Congress command. All we’re saying is that we’ll revolutionise schools and hospitals in Punjab like Delhi. We are only asking for the people’s support so we can develop the state; so we can build Mohalla & Pind Clinics; so we can provide free healthcare; so we can supply free electricity 24×7; so we can end the drug-mafia; so we can eliminate corruption; so we can bring prosperity to Punjab. That’s all we are asking for. One shot, to end the woes of Punjab and make the people happy.”

He further stated, “the whole system has come together to defeat not just me and Bhagwant, but the larger interest of Punjab as well. I just have one appeal to make to the people now. If all the corrupt politicians can come together, can the 3 crore people of Punjab not do so too? Can the people of Punjab not unite and support their aim of seeing a Sunehra, Rangla Punjab? I call upon the 3 crore Punjabis to unite and defeat this system of corrupt politicians and bring AAP to power. Vote for an honest government, and make Bhagwant Mann the CM of Punjab.”

The AAP Convenor went ahead to interact with the media and said, “The media has covered all of the parties’ election campaigns with great care and in a fair manner. All of these parties’ leaders claim that Kejriwal has been plotting to divide the country for the last ten years. They say that I want to be the prime minister of a segment of it. This is not just comedy but beyond bounds of hilarity. What could it possibly mean? That I’ve become a terrorist? So, what were the security agencies up to till now? What did the Congress people do when there was a Congress government? Were those people dozing off? For the past seven years, the BJP has ruled the country. What did Modi ji do, and why didn’t he detain me if I am a terrorist? What had his agencies been up to this point? It’s so amusing that just hearing it makes you laugh. Perhaps I will be the world’s sweetest terrorist, building hospitals and schools for people and sending the elderly on pilgrimages. I believe that no such terrorist has ever been born who builds roads, provides water, provides free electricity to people, and serves people.”

He added, “It’s worth noting that Rahul Gandhi was the first to level this charge against me. The Prime Minister used the same language as Rahul Gandhi the next day. The following day, Priyanka Gandhi used the same language. Sukhbir Badal then used the same language the next day. They say that people don’t believe a word that Rahul Gandhi says. The public would not believe Rahul Gandhi if he made such a joke of an allegation. But I never imagined that the Prime Minister would one day fall down to the level of Rahul Gandhi and imitate him. How has such a big terrorist not been arrested yet? Ever since the Modi government came, police have repeatedly raided my house and office. They had me raided by all government agencies, including the Income Tax and the ED, and they even got into my bedroom. None of these agencies found anything. Then, one day, a comic-poet stood up to recite a childish joke he dreamt of. He recited his poem like a child would after blindly memorising a lesson. He said that Kejriwal told him seven years ago that the country could be divided into two pieces. You can be the PM of one piece, and I will be the PM of another. Rahul Gandhi then repeated this poem, being the child he is. When the Prime Minister saw Rahul Gandhi’s speech, he realised that such a large terrorist is livning in this country. I want to thank that poet for letting the PM know about this terrorist that even the agencies could not catch hold of.”

He continued, “What exactly is going on? They’ve made a joke of our democracy. The leaders of the country’s two largest parties are making fun of the country’s security. Is this how security is handled? Terrorists are classified into two types, according to my understanding. Terrorists instil fear in the general public. The others who instil fear among the corrupt and bigoted. All of these corrupt leaders have gathered as one team today. The country’s biggest robbers and thieves have united. I build schools and hospitals for the general public, but I am a terrorist for these people. These people are unable to sleep at night because of me. They are terrified of my party. Shaheed e Azam Bhagat Singh was born one hundred years ago. He was called a terrorist by the British. I adore Bhagat Singh a lot. I consider myself a disciple of Bhagat Singh. The whole country knows that there was no devout patriot like Bhagat Singh. 100 years ago, Bhagat Singh was called a terrorist by the British and after 100 years now history is repeating itself that today all the corrupt who want to divide and rule like the British are trying to prove Bhagat Singh’s disciple as a terrorist. But the people of the country are seeing the reality today. I have come to know that last evening, the Central Government has gotten Channi Sahib to write a letter asking that these allegations be investigated. I have received news that an FIR will be registered against me in the NIA in the next day or two. All those FIRs are welcome, but if the central government deals with the security of the country in this way, then they’re making a joke of the security of the country.”
Shri Kejriwal also tweeted, “All of these corrupt people are calling me a terrorist. I am the world’s first terrorist who constructs schools, hospitals, and supplies free electricity. I am the world’s first “sweet” terrorist. Bhagat Singh was once feared by the British in just this way. This is why he was labelled a terrorist. I am a disciple of Bhagat Singh and I am ready to face whatever comes my way.”
