KCR wants to plunder public money and hide it abroad for decades: Indira Sobhan, AAP Telangana

NEW DELHI / TELANGANA:

AAP MLA and Telangana In-charge Shri Somnath Bharti took on Telangana KCR’s colossal failures in budget spends today. He stated — Telangana CM KCR failed to keep up three major promises he made to the people. KCR distributed government jobs like sweets among his family members. The TRS Government reduced the education budget from 10% to 6% while the AAP Government increased it to 25%. KCR is running the most expensive election campaign in the country. KCR is known as Chota Modi in Telangana, his arrogance only supports the claim. At the same time, AAP Telangana Leader Smt Indira Sobhan said that KCR wants to plunder public money and hide it abroad for decades.

AAP Senior Leader and MLA Shri Somnath Bharti said, “Telangana’s government presented its budget yesterday, and all eyes were on it in anticipation of something new in the budget. At the time of the Telangana struggle, KCR Saheb had stated that the first Chief Minister of Telangana would be an SC. But, far from keeping that vow, he first became Chief Minister, and then he handed out jobs to all of his family members like sweets. All posts were distributed, from MP to Minister. His second promise was that we would give each family 5 acres of land, but that promise was also betrayed. Third promise was that a 125-foot-high memorial statue of Dr. Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar would be erected to remind the government, and those in power, of the dreams Babasaheb had for the citizens of the country and Telangana, and how they must be realized. This, too, was a promise that was never kept.”

He added, “The budget is 2 lakh 56 thousand crores. In Telangana, the TRS originated from a movement, and in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party emerged from a movement. What is the difference between the two? I’m trying to explain it to you so that the people of Telangana understand that KCR sahib does not have it in him to actually serve the people. Whichever government wishes for the people of the country to be strong, grow in happiness, and thrive, the government of that state prioritizes education. Whereas, in Delhi, Kejriwal ji’s government did a slew of educational projects, the root of which can be traced back to the budget, where 25% of the Delhi government’s budget was devoted to education. At the same time, KCR sahib’s allotment to education in the Telangana government has been reduced from 10 to 6.26 percent this time. That is to say, there is no preparation, or there is total preparation on their part. There is no plan in place to empower the people, but there is a plan in place to reign over them. Their goal is to maintain control over the population by keeping the public ignorant, impoverished, and grossly disempowered. At the same time, Kejriwal sahib allocated 25% of his budget to education, and today Delhi’s schools are praised for both their facilities and academic performance. People all around the world dropped their jaws when crores of rupees in investment began to pour in for the projects of school children.”

He stated, “As far as I can tell, KCR sahib is running the most expensive election campaign in the country. He is at the forefront of it. All of their plans are centered on elections rather than providing true freedom to the people. In 2 lakh 56 thousand crores, they propose to spend one lakh Ninety Two thousand crores on election-related schemes. The state’s revenue is one lakh thirty-three thousand crores, while the deficit in revenue and expenditure is one lakh twenty-three thousand crores, with part of it coming from the central and some coming from borrowings. We spend 25% on education and 13% on health care in Delhi, yet the CAG report states unequivocally that the Delhi government is the only government to administer so many schemes while remaining profitable. Telangana’s government is doing nothing even close, and the government is in debt to the tune of 4 lakh crores. It would have been a different situation if they had done fantastic work and received a loan as a result of it. However, they are not doing anything for the people, yet the debt is growing. A debt of 4 lakh crores exists in the name of the people. It is rumored that it will be increased to 5 lakh crores. According to this, every person in Telangana is 1 lakh rupees in debt.”

AAP Senior Leader Shri Somnath Bharti remarked, “Telangana has a significant unemployment problem. He had declared that an unemployment allowance of 3016 rupees per month will be provided. There hasn’t been a single penny set aside for this project in this budget, nor has it been planned for. SC/ST Loans for Eligible Candidates are yet to be made available. So, with this, I’d want to inform the SC/ST friends that the KCR government has not kept their first three commitments, nor do they intend to show some effort for the ST/ST community today. Because of their poor planning, they were only able to spend 25% of the allocated budget. Only a quarter of what they had allocated at the start. They are 5 lakh crores deep in debt, and there is no name or mark of recruitment. KCR sahib has yet to make a single recruitment. While there are currently lakhs of vacancies available in the state, there have been no announcements and the youth are not getting any benefits. Because of the manner, Just like BJP failing in every state in all aspects TRS has failed massively in Telangana, KCR sahib is known as Chhota Modi in Telangana. Regardless of what they show on the surface, they are up to the same tricks as the BJP. Neither Modi sahib nor his clone, Chhota Modi Mr. KCR, were able to provide jobs for the youth, and unemployment continued to rise.”

He said, “They allocated Rs. 1200 hundred crore for farmer loans, but they could only spend 403 rupees. 26 lakh people were eligible for loans, however only 2960 persons were able to take advantage of them. Parallel to the decline from 10% to 6.8% in education, they have allotted only 6% of the entire budget to health, whereas Delhi is a small state, and we have a 13% allotment. They tried to mimic our Kejriwal government’s Mohalla Clinic concept, but there is no funding in the current budget for even a couple of medical dispensaries. There is no remedy to the situation of Vidya Volunteers or Field Assistants. Many young friends who were Vidya Volunteers or Field Assistants have committed suicide because they were unable to run their households as I have stated many times, but KCR sahib is completely unconcerned. He is exclusively concerned with how to win elections, namely how to win elections by exploiting the state coffers.”

He added, “The state government pays interest of Rs. 33,000 crores. Interestingly, there was a pension scheme, Abhaya Stambh, whose compensation they pocketed. The Aam Aadmi Party took the matter to the Telangana High Court, after which the Minister issued a statement saying that they are now going to do it. This is a significant success for the Aam Aadmi Party Telangana colleagues since the government had pocketed 1750 crore rupees in contributions. Similarly, self-help groups were to be given 3000 crores at 0% interest. Today is International Women’s Day, and the KCR government has done nothing in the name of women’s rights, whereas we have provided free bus tickets to women and Mahila Mohalla Clinics in Delhi. Delhi is presently the only city in the world where so many CCTV cameras have been deployed per capita. Telangana has made no such security preparations.”

Shri Somnath Bharti stated, “Even the employees’ salaries are not paid on time by the Telangana government. Whether it comes to education, health, women’s empowerment, farmer empowerment, ST/ST fellows, or the welfare of government employees, the KCR government is not doing a single thing. Wherever you look, there is nothing but failure. The two things that KCR Sahab has perfected are corruption and inefficiency.”

He remarked, “On every level, KCR sahib has failed. The budget is a colossal flop. It is the pinnacle of despair, and the people of Telangana feel betrayed. He has cheated every class. I want to remind my Telangana colleagues that they should not be disheartened because a ray of hope has appeared in the form of Kejriwal Ji for the entire country. This hope is as much for you as it is for Punjab, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Goa, or Uttar Pradesh. We will make ourselves available there very soon, and we will provide the people of Telangana with all the schemes that are already accessible in Delhi.”

Smt Indira Shobhan, Chairperson, AAP Telangana Search Committee, said that the vision of KCR is to plunder public money and hide it abroad for decades. Knowing that the Aam Aadmi Party will focus on Telangana, KCR said that it has launched the Mana Uru – Mana Badi program. KCR ensured that the lives of the people of Telangana were being reduced to ashes and sent to the brink. In the RTI she applied for, she said many things were promised regarding funds from SC, BC, MBC and other categories. From 2014 to March 2021, only Rs. 1350 crores only. She said that we are investing Rs 17,000 crore to put flowers in someone’s ear. Also, students who applied for the Mahatma Jyoti Rao Poole Scholarship were subjected to severe injustice. MBC Corporation was allocated Rs. 2 thousand crore but only Rs 3 crore was spent. That is, KCR gave Rs 3 crore to 120 castes in MBC. KCR said the funds were allocated during the 2018 early elections. After that SC, BC and MBC Corporation were not given a single rupee. Indira Shobhan said the state budget was a matter of numbers. In Vanaparthi the woman field Assistants in the house were cornered and had been arrested by the police. On Women’s Day, Indira questioned whether this was a gift given to women by KCR.
