The Aam Aadmi Party leadership on Sunday lashed out at the BJP for inducting a man of dubious and questionable character into their party in the name of breaking the AAP. Attacking the BJP from the front, AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal wrote on twitter, “Had BJP worked properly in Himachal, its President and Cabinet Minister wouldn’t have had to fall at the feet of a tainted worker of another party.” This came in the context of BJP National President JP Nadda and Cabinet Minister Anurag Thakur making a rushed visit to the hill state at midnight for the sole cause of inducting an AAP worker on the verge of suspension into their party. AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia further pointed out that AAP was about to remove the man from the party on Saturday itself on allegations of heinous acts against women, but the BJP President and Cabinet Minister deliberately ran to Himachal to induct him before that. Shri Sisodia further commented, “such people truly belong to the BJP only, AAP will never for even a minute tolerate disrespect of women in its party. We will not allow such characterless people to work in AAP”. In a separate turn of events, the Aam Aadmi Party has also alleged that the BJP is about to change its chief minister in Himachal in a ploy to divert public attention from its terrible governance. On this, Shri Kejriwal stated, “If the BJP leaders had worked honestly for the public, then there would not have been so much fear in them, there would have been no need to change the CM.” Shri Sisodia had recently held a press conference to inform that sitting Union Cabinet Minister Anurag Thakur is in line to become the CM of Himachal; today, the Delhi Deputy CM said, “Cabinet Minister and BJP’s future CM candidate for Himachal Pradesh, Anurag Thakur rushed to the state with Party President JP Nadda to welcome this lowlife into their party with open arms. It is the BJP who embraces and gives refuge to the worst of the possible predatory men into their party.” Both the AAP leaders expressed their hope of a massive victory in Himachal Pradesh at the same time, as Shri Kejriwal tweeted, “People have faith in AAP. AAP will give a staunchly honest and Deshbhakt Government to Himachal Pradesh.”; while, Shri Sisodia said he thoroughly believes that the politics of Himachal Pradesh is set to transform and what is happening within the BJP is only a sign of that, the fear of CM Arvind Kejriwal is getting to them.
AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia addressed a press conference on Saturday morning and said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party, which claims to be the largest political party in the world, is so terrified and afraid of Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s work oriented politics, that last night, at 12 o’clock, the National President of the BJP JP Nadda and Cabinet Minister & future Himachal CM Candidate of BJP Anurag Thakur hastily held a press conference in order to induct a former AAP member. This emergency press conference had only one purpose, to get an opportunity to talk about CM Arvind Kejriwal, and build a narrative against the AAP. The BJP was so hurried in moving towards this opportunity that they inducted someone with a dubious record into the party. This party worker is someone against whom the Aam Aadmi Party had received a large number of complaints regarding harassment and inappropriate behaviour towards women, of which there is clear proof. The man that AAP had summoned to take action against for his misbehaviour, and who was going to be removed from our party today has been embraced by the president of the BJP.”
He added “Mind you, Cabinet Minister and BJP’s future CM candidate for Himachal Pradesh, Anurag Thakur rushed to the state with Party President JP Nadda to welcome this lowlife into their party with open arms. This proves one thing for sure – that the wishes of the people of Himachal Pradesh have been heard loud and clear by the BJP, otherwise why would the party president and CM candidate of the largest party of the world rush to Himachal Pradesh overnight to induct one dubious characterless man into the party. This only shows their fear and frustration because of AAP’s rise.”
Shri Sisodia continued, “I must also remark that this man, thoroughly lacking character, truly deserves to be in the BJP only. It is the BJP who embraces and gives refuge to the worst of the possible, those with evil intentions, those who do not respect women, predators, harassers, all get a befitting place and company in the BJP. This only shows the true face of the BJP that leaders of such magnitude are so happily welcoming a man of such questionable behaviour. I also sympathise with the women of the BJP that two of your bigger leaders have no shame in embracing a man who doesn’t respect you. I thoroughly believe that the politics of Himachal Pradesh is set to transform and what is happening with and within the BJP is only a sign of that.”
Shri Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “These people are afraid of the public. If the BJP leaders had worked honestly for the public, then there would not have been so much fear in them, there would have been no need to change the CM, there would have been no need to fall at the feet of the tainted workers of other parties. People have faith in AAP. AAP will give a staunchly honest and Deshbhakt Government to Himachal Pradesh.”
While, the Delhi Deputy CM further tweeted, “BJP’s top leadership is stricken with fear of CM Arvind Kejriwal. BJP President Nadda and future CM face Anurag Thakur rushed to Himachal Pradesh and got an AAP worker to defect at 12 o’clock in the night. AAP was about to remove the man today on allegations of immoral acts against women. Such people truly belong to the BJP only.”
